Exploring the World Starts With Seeing Yourself in It
Passport to Black Joy is an interactive travel education program created by Black Joy Global Travel to introduce participants to the possibilities of global exploration.

Through storytelling, history, culture, geography, and real-world travel experiences, participants are encouraged to think beyond the places they already know and imagine themselves experiencing communities and cultures around the world.
​
The goal isn't simply to teach people about destinations. It's to build curiosity, challenge assumptions about who gets to travel, and help participants understand that the world is something they can actively experience for themselves.
Exposure creates curiosity. Curiosity creates questions. And questions can change the way we understand ourselves and the world.

DISCOVER THE WORLD
An engaging introduction to countries, cultures, geography, and global exploration designed to spark curiosity and help younger students understand just how big and diverse the world really is.
Programming can be adapted for schools, youth organizations, community groups, professional organizations, and other audiences.
7-12:
EXPAND YOUR PERSPECTIVE
A deeper exploration of travel, identity, culture, history, and global citizenship that encourages students to question assumptions, broaden their worldview, and imagine possibilities beyond their immediate environment.
ADULTS & COMMUNITY GROUPS:

A conversation about travel, identity, fear, access, and the experiences that can keep adults from exploring the world, with practical encouragement to turn curiosity into action.

Break down common fears and misconceptions about international travel while showing participants that exploring the world is something they can realistically pursue.
